South Africa’s premium flavoured beer, Flying Fish, gave Johannesburg a much-needed burst of flavour on the 25th of November at their highly anticipated Flavour Odyssey experience. The lush gardens of Victoria Yards were brought to life by the vibrant sounds and stylistic flow of American rapper J.I.D who performed alongside local superstars Moonchild Sanelly, Kitchen Mess, Sho Madjozi, Black Motion Spoek Mathambo and Manthe Ribane.

The first ever Flavour Odyssey was created to shake the masses out of their everyday routines and add some flavour to their summer in celebration of the brand’s new pack design that changes colour in the sun. Every aspect of the experience was unlike anything you’ve ever seen, centred around a massive sundial, with surprising experiences revealed every hour in the flavours of passion of music, art, food and fashion.

The creative collective The Sartists lead the charge in fashion curating an exclusive eye-catching fashion collection that was inspired by the sun which showcased a refreshing fashion adventure which encapsulated the unconventional and the colourful Flying Fish aesthetic. The collection feature a diverse array of bright colours, patterned clothing and mes.

Fashionable celebrities spotted on the day included the Manthe Ribane who’s other worldly performance took attendees on ethereal journeys into Dear Ribane’s world.“Makhe” hitmaker Moonchild Sannelly got the crowd going dressed sequinned bodysuit whilst rapper Patty Monroe served looks in a custom “Malatjie” top.
