NO: 1 Metallic Marvel
We really cannot sit back and allow ourselves to miss the glory that K Naomi is churning out lately, when it comes to her clean signature looks, she wins always… Sophistication becomes key in 2019, especially if you want to know how to switch your look from day wear to evening and Naomi can help you find that balance. Find this fab girl on Instagram @KNaomiN, she is a style queen to stick by. We forgot to mention that the metallic look will never go out of style, in fact it is becoming more a feature in the future of fashion – watch and learn.
NO: 2 The Rise Of Hippie
Where do we even begin with this starlet – she is what we call a Starseed – in the world, but not of it, hence she won the Most Innovative Style Award. So take it from Sho Madjozi (@ShoMadjozi on IG) boo, minimalism with a strong shot of an extravaganza is key. Why ? If we must let you know, globally, over the top looks are slowly fading out of fashion as we look into a future where simplistic creativity is key to your look. In this case boo: hair – check, face – check ensemble – double check! We have finally come to an Era where women do not have to wear heels with skirts anymore, nest takes with this look will do the most. We at Stylista like to call the latter above – the Hippie Chick look.
NO: 3 Emerald Green with Envy
We almost fainted when we saw this look, yes, her name is Iman Mkwanazi, she is a South African model and entrepreneur best known for being one of the Top 12 finalists in the 2017 Miss South Africa pageant. She is arguably one of the most elegant ladies of the industry, her style is always clean and chic, yet so unpredictable. This time around, this queen of style slays us with and emerald green maxi dress, shorts crisp hair, hoops that turn heads and impeccable jewellery details that are just enough glamour to walk a BET carpet. To get the best fashion tips for this Summer, would suggest you make a stop on her gram @ImanMkwanazi, enjoy the jaw drops from her page.
NO: 4 Birds Of A Feather
The last time we interviewed Ayanda at the SAFW 21st Year Celebration, we asked her what she wore at the age of 21, her response suggested to us that she does not take herself seriously as a fashionista – but we do … Why? This TV princess dresses as few steps ahead of SA trends. We are really excited to see this look at the SA Style Awards because it speaks to runways from Dries van Noten to Loewe, who were all serving us wings—or at least feathers as part of the 2019 Spring collection forecast.
